Presence Capstone: Signature 20-Minute LIVE
Capstone: run a signature 20-minute LIVE with a full evidence package — run of show, opening, vocal/pacing, story, chat plan, recovery, close, replay review, and before/after — then certify craft, not vibes.
Study
What you'll learn
Read this section before your Live Exam — every lesson pairs study with a real TikTok LIVE.
Introduction
This is the Presence Capstone. Everything from owning the frame to interview energy was building toward one proof: you can host a signature 20-minute LIVE that looks like you on purpose — and you can prove it with a packet someone else could review without watching your vibes.
Not a highlight reel of lucky chat. Not "I streamed and felt confident." A repeatable signature session with portfolio evidence: run of show, signature opening, vocal/pacing plan, story or teaching segment, chat-integration plan, recovery plan, signature closing, replay self-review, before-and-after comparison, and a complete evidence package.
You will design the twenty minutes in this lesson, run it on TikTok LIVE, and assemble the dossier. Your Presence Mastery Certificate expects the work. Optional Honors Lab can polish afterward — it never gates certification.
Why This Lesson Matters
Sequence you are in:
- Previous: Interview Energy (Solo and With Guests) — questions, listening, follow-ups
- This lesson: Presence Capstone: Signature 20-Minute LIVE — integrate and prove
- Next after certificate: Content Creation Mastery (recommended) — deepen segments and creative systems; return to the [/streameru](/streameru) hub to choose your next path
Camera, voice, quiet-chat confidence, stories, motives, pacing, personality levers, pressure recovery, and interview energy are separate skills until Capstone. Without integration, worksheets stay homework. With it, you graduate Presence Mastery ready to keep presence habits alive while you specialize further.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
- Assemble an objectively reviewable Presence Capstone evidence package
- Design a signature 20-minute run of show that uses PR-01 through PR-09 skills on purpose
- Write signature opening and closing that match your brand promise
- Include vocal/pacing, story/teach, chat integration, and recovery as planned beats
- Complete replay self-review and a before-and-after comparison against earlier Presence drills
- Explain how optional Honors Lab review works after the certificate (non-gating)
Estimated Study Time
- Study and dossier setup: about 35 minutes to assemble plans and the evidence checklist
- LIVE Mission: Signature 20-Minute LIVE (may sit inside a longer session; the scored block is continuous twenty minutes)
- Review window: 30–45 minutes for replay self-review + before/after write-up the same day
Protect the review time. Capstone without replay notes is incomplete.
Prerequisites
Complete PR-01 through PR-09 — Camera Presence, Voice, Quiet-Chat Confidence, Storytelling, Audience Psychology, Emotional Pacing, Humor/Warmth/Authenticity, Pressure Recovery, and Interview Energy.
You should already have (or quickly complete):
- Presence Drill self-review notes (PR-01)
- Voice warm-up + variety notes (PR-02)
- Quiet-chat protocol card (PR-03)
- Story bank with proven micro-stories (PR-04)
- Motive map / redesigned segment notes (PR-05)
- Annotated energy map habits (PR-06)
- Personality Lever Card (PR-07)
- Pressure Recovery Card (PR-08)
- Interview Segment Plan + question bank (PR-09)
Tools: Capstone Evidence Checklist, timer visible for the twenty-minute block, replay access, folder or doc for the package.
Main Lesson
What "objectively reviewable" means
A Capstone is not "I felt present." It is a packet a mentor (or future you) can inspect:
1. Run of show — minute-by-minute plan for the signature 20 2. Signature opening — written + delivered (lens-aware, brand-true) 3. Vocal / pacing plan — variety targets + energy levels across the 20 4. Story or teaching segment — named beat with setup/turn/payoff or clear teach arc 5. Chat-integration plan — how you ask, wait, reflect, follow up (solo chat counts) 6. Recovery plan — which Pressure Recovery scripts you will use if gifts/trolls/tech/crowd hit 7. Signature closing — written + delivered (settle, promise, goodbye) 8. Replay self-review — scored checklist against the plan (not vibes) 9. Before-and-after comparison — contrast vs early Presence drill / first weeks of the path 10. Evidence package — all of the above filed together with date and LIVE identity notes
If a piece is missing, Capstone is incomplete — even if the LIVE "felt great."
Designing the signature 20
Use this skeleton and adapt to your brand (times are guides):
| Minutes | Job | Presence skills on deck | | --- | --- | --- | | 0–2 | Signature opening | Camera, voice, brand promise | | 2–6 | Soft build + chat invite | Quiet-chat confidence, interview energy | | 6–10 | Story or teach peak | Storytelling + pacing peak | | 10–14 | Rest + chat integration | Motives, warmth lever, listening | | 14–17 | Second beat or personality lever | Humor/warmth/edge on purpose | | 17–20 | Recovery-ready settle + signature close | Pressure readiness + close |
Annotate energy levels (PR-06). Place one peak, one rest, and leave recovery language ready even if unused.
Before snapshot (required)
Before Capstone week (or on planning day), capture a short before note from early Presence work: typical framing mistake, voice failure mode, quiet-chat spiral trigger, and whether stories had payoffs. Without before, after is vibes.
Replay self-review (required)
Within a few hours of the LIVE, watch the twenty-minute block (or detailed memory + notes if replay is unavailable — prefer replay). Score:
- Frame and eye line held?
- Vocal variety audible?
- Quiet minutes handled without spiral?
- Story/teach payoff landed?
- Chat integration: at least one reflect + follow-up when chat appeared (or clean solo protocol if silent)?
- Recovery used or recovery readiness visible (you did not invent panic)?
- Opening and closing recognizable as signature?
Write one keep and one fix. File it.
Honors Lab (optional, non-gating)
After you earn the Presence Mastery Certificate (lesson work + Program Final per academy rules), you may submit the evidence package for optional Honors Lab review (AI / mentor / Brad lanes as offered). Honors never blocks Capstone completion or the certificate. Do not wait for lab approval to finish.
After Presence
Most creators should continue into Content Creation Mastery next — segments, creative systems, and memorability at the content layer — while keeping presence habits alive. Start from the [/streameru](/streameru) hub when you choose your next path. Presence is not "done forever"; craft decays without review.
Examples
Example 1 — Signature opening (good). "Welcome in — you're in [brand promise in one line]. Next twenty minutes: one story, one clear tip, and your questions. Eyes on the room — let's work." Lens first, promise second, plan third. No apology for existing.
Example 2 — Evidence package index. Folder dated. Files: 01-run-of-show, 02-opening-close, 03-vocal-pacing, 04-story-beat, 05-chat-plan, 06-recovery-card, 07-replay-scores, 08-before-after. Anyone can audit in ten minutes.
Example 3 — Before/after line (good). "Before (PR-01 week): chin dip + chat-buried eyes; stories trailed off. Capstone: home posture held; Peak story payoff at 8:40; quiet stretch used protocol once; close settled at energy 3. Keep: settle close. Fix: invite chat question earlier at minute 4."
Real Creator Scenarios
Scenario A — Chat explodes and you abandon the run of show. Symptom: twenty minutes of reaction content; no story beat. Action: thank, take one comment with interview energy, return to the planned peak by the next minute mark. Signature means you lead.
Scenario B — Room is silent the whole block. Symptom: you feel Capstone "doesn't count." Action: silent Capstone still counts if protocol, story/teach, pacing, and close executed. Document chat plan + what you did when nobody typed. Presence is hosting without constant validation.
Scenario C — You want to wait for Honors Lab before calling it done. Symptom: dossier sits unfinished. Action: finish checklist, pass Program Final path requirements, claim the craft. Lab is optional polish after certificate — never the gate.
From Brad's Experience
Pro Tips
- Schedule Capstone on a normal OS calendar day — not a mythical perfect-energy day only.
- Timebox the twenty minutes; if you stream longer, still protect a continuous scored block.
- Put recovery scripts on paper beside you even if you hope not to use them.
- Record or save replay links the same day.
- Compare to real early notes — memory flatters.
- One keep + one fix beats a novel of self-criticism.
- Reuse Capstone as a monthly presence audit after you move on.
- File everything before you celebrate.
Common Beginner Mistakes
- Calling vibes a Capstone. Fix: complete all ten evidence items.
- Skipping replay because it felt good. Fix: score the checklist anyway.
- No before snapshot. Fix: pull PR-01/PR-02 notes and write contrast.
- Monologue-only twenty minutes. Fix: chat-integration plan — even for silence protocols.
- Opening apology spiral. Fix: signature open from brand promise.
- Waiting on Honors Lab to finish. Fix: labs never gate; ship the package.
- Treating Capstone as the end of practice. Fix: keep presence habits into Content Creation Mastery.
Reality Check
Your Capstone will not be perfect. It must be honest and complete. A slightly messy twenty minutes with a full evidence package beats a lucky viral night with nothing reviewable.
Viewer count is not the grade. Behavior and documentation are. Quiet Capstones count. Chaotic Capstones count if recovery and return show up in the review.
Summary
The Presence Capstone is a signature 20-minute LIVE plus an objectively reviewable evidence package covering run of show, opening, vocal/pacing, story/teach, chat integration, recovery, closing, replay self-review, before/after, and the filed dossier. Honors Lab is optional after certification. Then continue — recommended next craft path is Content Creation Mastery via the [/streameru](/streameru) hub — without dropping presence habits.
LIVE Mission
Mission: Signature 20-Minute Capstone LIVE
1. Assemble the Capstone Evidence Checklist and complete plans: run of show, signature opening/closing, vocal/pacing plan, story/teach beat, chat-integration plan, recovery plan. 2. Write the before snapshot from early Presence notes. 3. Run a TikTok LIVE that includes one continuous signature 20-minute block executing the plan (camera, voice, composure, story/teach, chat integration, recovery readiness, signature close). 4. Same day: replay self-review scored against the checklist + before/after comparison. 5. File the full evidence package. Do not wait for Honors Lab.
Success is behavior + paperwork: signature LIVE executed + complete reviewable package. Virality is irrelevant.

Assessment
Live Exam
This class isn't finished until you execute on TikTok LIVE. Study + Live Exam are one unit — complete both before moving on.
Session: Signature 20-Minute LIVE Capstone
Deliver your signature 20-minute LIVE with full evidence package — run of show, opening, pacing, story, chat plan, recovery, close, and replay review.
- Assemble the Signature LIVE Run of Show and Presence Evidence Package Checklist (all required pages).
- Record a short before snapshot of your presence goals vs Advanced Creator baseline notes.
- Post a short video announcing your LIVE (time + topic).
- Use relevant hashtags on that post and in your LIVE title or description.
- Share the announcement to your story.
- Go live for at least 45 minutes in one continuous session (required).
- Talk continuously — silence loses the room; engage viewers when chat appears.
- Apply one technique from this lesson deliberately and note what changed.
- Deliver a continuous signature block of at least 20 minutes matching the run of show.
- Complete replay self-review rubric and before/after comparison the same day; file the evidence package.
- At this stage, treat LIVE like a job block: prioritize 1–2+ hours total daily as your capacity allows.
Pass criteria
Produce a reviewable signature 20-minute LIVE portfolio artifact with scored self-review — not virality metrics.
Pass the lesson quiz above, then finish the LIVE requirements.
