Offer Design for LIVE Creators
Design one primary LIVE offer and one clean secondary offer, build a real offer sheet, and cue your primary offer once without pressure tactics.
Study
What you'll learn
Read this section before your Live Exam — every lesson pairs study with a real TikTok LIVE.
Introduction
An "offer" sounds like sales-team language, but every creator who earns consistently already has one — they just may not have written it down. An offer is simply the clear, specific thing a viewer can do to support you, stated plainly enough that nobody has to guess.
Vague rooms create vague support: "gift if you want" leaves people unsure what actually helps. Clear rooms create clear support: a named primary offer people recognize, and one lightweight secondary offer for people who engage differently. This lesson turns your Positioning Statement and Won't-Do List into exactly two offers on one page, ready to cue on LIVE without pressure.
By the end you will hold a completed Offer Sheet — not a menu of ten options, just two offers your room already knows.
Why This Lesson Matters
Sequence you are in:
- Previous: Positioning for Money (Without Selling Your Soul) — a positioning statement and a won't-do list
- This lesson: Offer Design for LIVE Creators — one primary offer, one secondary offer, one offer sheet
- Next: Income Systems and Money Operations — a simple 90-day system for tracking what those offers actually produce
Professional Creator Mastery moves in a deliberate order: decide values first (Positioning), then design what you offer (this lesson), then build operations to track it (next lesson). Skipping straight to offers without positioning is how creators copy tactics that do not fit them. You already did the harder work — this lesson is mostly translation.
Brief callbacks only: your Won't-Do List (PC-01) already filters manipulative tactics — you apply it here, not rebuild it. Core Lessons 20–22 (`gifts-goals-momentum`, `creating-reasons-to-gift`, `setting-goals-during-lives`) already taught gifting mechanics, reasons to gift, and visible goals. This lesson does not reteach those — it uses them as raw material for two named offers.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
- Design one primary LIVE offer that names exactly what support looks like
- Design one secondary offer for viewers who engage differently than your primary audience
- Complete an Offer Sheet that states both offers in plain, sayable language
- Filter every offer idea through your existing Won't-Do List and the Income-Safe Offer Fit Checker
- Deliver a primary offer cue on LIVE once, without pressure tactics or repetition
- Distinguish an offer (clear and optional) from a pressure tactic (urgent and coercive)
Estimated Study Time
- Study and offer design: about 30 minutes to draft both offers and the Offer Sheet
- LIVE Mission: 45+ minutes, one primary offer cue
- First full pass: roughly 75–85 minutes including a short post-LIVE note
Prerequisites
Complete Positioning for Money (Without Selling Your Soul) (`positioning-for-money-without-selling-your-soul`). You should already have a written positioning statement and Won't-Do List, and basic comfort with gifting mechanics, reasons to gift, and visible goals from Core Lessons 20–22.
You should already have:
- A one-sentence positioning statement you can say from memory
- A specific, observable Won't-Do List with at least three entries
- At least one session of experience running a visible goal or gift moment
Main Lesson
An offer is a sentence, not a funnel
The biggest mistake creators make when they hear "offer" is imagining something elaborate — tiers, bundles, sales-page energy. For a LIVE creator, an offer is one clear sentence describing what support looks like and, optionally, what it unlocks. That's it.
A primary offer names the main way people support you regularly. A secondary offer names a lighter, occasional way for people who engage differently — maybe they rarely gift but love participating. Two offers, not ten — enough for a room to remember and repeat back to you.
Designing the primary offer
Your primary offer should be the thing you already do most naturally — usually tied to a recurring segment, a visible goal, or a simple recognition moment. Use this template:
"When you [support action], I [what happens] — because [reason tied to your positioning]."
Examples of shape (write your own, specific to your room):
- "When the goal fills during trivia night, I run one bonus round — because I want gifting to feel like it makes the show better for everyone, not just the gifter."
- "When someone gifts during the opening segment, I read their name in the shoutout roll — because recognition should be immediate, not saved for later."
Notice the formula does not require guilt, comparison, or urgency to make sense. If your draft needs "or else," rewrite it.
Designing the secondary offer
Your secondary offer serves people who do not fit the primary pattern — lower-frequency supporters or participation-first viewers. Keep it just as simple:
- A one-time recognition action (a shoutout for a specific helpful comment, not just any gift)
- A light participation offer (join a poll, answer a prompt) that costs nothing but attention
- A modest, occasional ask tied to a specific moment, not a recurring pressure point
The secondary offer should never compete with or contradict the primary offer. If both offers ask for the same action in different words, you have one offer wearing two names — simplify back to one.
Filtering offers through what you already built
Before either offer goes on your sheet, run it through two existing tools:
1. Won't-Do List (PC-01) — does this offer require any tactic you already refused in writing? 2. Income-Safe Offer Fit Checker (PC-01) — does it pass platform-safe, relationship-safe, and reputation-safe?
An offer that fails either check gets rejected and replaced, not simplified. This is the point of doing positioning work first — offer design becomes fast because the filtering rules already exist.
The Offer Sheet
Your Offer Sheet is one page with four sections: primary offer, secondary offer, the cue line for each, and a note on when each fits your session (open, mid, or close). Keep every line short enough to say from memory — a sheet you have to read verbatim is not ready yet.
Cueing the primary offer without pressure
The LIVE Mission asks you to deliver your primary offer cue once, cleanly, without repeating it or stacking a second ask on top. A pressure tactic and an offer cue can use nearly identical words — the difference is tone, frequency, and what happens if nobody responds.
Offer cue (income-safe): "Quick note — when the goal fills tonight, I run a bonus round. No pressure, just how tonight works if it happens." Said once, then back to the show.
Pressure tactic (not income-safe): repeating the cue every few minutes, adding a countdown, or implying the show suffers if the goal isn't met. Same topic, different discipline.
Hard boundaries for this lesson
This lesson stays inside the same boundaries as the rest of the path:
- No recruiting other creators into an agency, team, or network you run
- No starting or promoting a competing management or agency business
- No specific tax advice, deduction claims, or filing instructions
- No legal advice — literacy about when to get qualified help only
- No investment advice or promised financial outcomes for viewers
If either offer edges toward promising earnings, recruiting collaborators into a paid structure, or off-platform payment redirection, rewrite it before it reaches your sheet.
Capstone connection
Your completed Offer Sheet becomes the input for next lesson's Income Systems — you cannot track income sensibly without first naming what generates it.
Optional Honors Lab may later review whether your LIVE delivery matched your written sheet; labs never gate certification.
Examples
Example 1 — Simplifying an overloaded offer. A creator's draft primary offer had four tiers and three conditions. Simplified to the template, it became: "When the goal fills, I run one extra round of the game — that's it." One sentence, chat could repeat it, mission complete.
Example 2 — A secondary offer for non-gifters. A creator whose regulars rarely gift built a secondary offer around a weekly "best question" shoutout requiring zero spending. It gave quiet viewers a clear way to feel recognized without contradicting the gifting-based primary offer.
Example 3 — Rejecting an offer at the filter stage. A creator considered a "gift now or miss the bonus round forever" framing. It failed the Won't-Do List (implied scarcity threat) before it ever reached the Offer Sheet — replaced with a calm, repeatable version instead.
Real Creator Scenarios
Scenario A — "I have five different asks and none of them land." Action: cut to exactly one primary and one secondary offer. Five competing asks confuse a room; two clear ones get remembered.
Scenario B — "My secondary offer keeps turning into a second primary offer." Action: check whether both request the same action. If so, delete one — a room only needs one primary ask per session.
Scenario C — "I said my offer cue three times because chat seemed interested." Action: revisit the rule — once per session. Interest is proof the first mention already worked, not permission to repeat.
From Brad's Experience
Pro Tips
- Cap yourself at exactly two offers — primary and secondary, nothing more.
- Write both offers so a regular could explain them to a newcomer in one sentence.
- Run every offer through the Won't-Do List and Income-Safe Checker before it reaches the sheet.
- Say the primary offer cue once per session; let repetition happen through your regulars, not your mic.
- Keep the secondary offer free or low-cost — it exists for a different kind of engagement, not a second sales push.
- Never let a good night talk you into adding a third offer on the spot.
- Match each offer's timing (open, mid, close) to where it fits your show naturally.
- Revisit the Offer Sheet monthly; freeze it otherwise so your room can learn it.
Common Beginner Mistakes
- Designing five offers instead of two. Fix: cut to one primary, one secondary, using the templates.
- Writing an offer with hidden conditions or fine print. Fix: rewrite until a regular could repeat it in one sentence.
- Letting the secondary offer duplicate the primary ask. Fix: check for overlap; delete one if they match.
- Repeating the offer cue multiple times per session. Fix: say it once, then trust the room to remember.
- Skipping the Won't-Do List filter because the offer "feels fine." Fix: run every offer through the filter regardless of gut feeling.
- Adding urgency language to make the offer "convert better." Fix: urgency is a pressure tactic, not an offer feature — remove it.
- Treating the Offer Sheet as a one-time task never revisited. Fix: review monthly alongside your income tracker in the next lesson.
Reality Check
Your first attempt at the primary offer template will probably feel too plain compared to what you have seen other creators say. That flatness is the point — a calm, repeatable sentence outperforms a clever pitch over months. Some sessions the cue will land with visible response; many will pass with none at all. Both are fine — the mission grades the design and delivery, not the response.
Summary
Offer design turns your positioning and won't-do list into two concrete, sayable offers: one primary, one secondary. Use the plain-language templates, filter every idea through your Won't-Do List and Income-Safe Offer Fit Checker, and complete a one-page Offer Sheet with cue lines and timing notes. Deliver the primary offer cue once on a real LIVE, without pressure tactics. Keep agency recruiting, competing businesses, and any tax, legal, or investment claims out of scope.
LIVE Mission
Mission: Offer Sheet + Primary Cue LIVE
1. Draft your primary offer using the template: support action, what happens, reason tied to positioning. 2. Draft your secondary offer, confirming it does not duplicate the primary ask. 3. Run both offers through the Won't-Do List and Income-Safe Offer Fit Checker. 4. Complete the Offer Sheet with both offers, cue lines, and timing notes. 5. On a 45+ minute TikTok LIVE, deliver your primary offer cue once, calmly, without pressure tactics or repetition.
Success is graded on execution — a completed sheet and one clean cue delivery — never on gifts or earnings that night.
