Story Interrupt Recovery
Scripts and moves for when chat, gifts, or tech interrupt a story mid-beat — without losing the payoff.
LIVE stories get interrupted. Pros land a mini-payoff or bookmark, handle the moment, then finish. Amateurs abandon the story and never return.
Recovery lines
Gift / big comment interrupt — acknowledge + bookmark

Return-to-story line (exact words)
Mini-payoff if I must cut short
Recovery order
- Acknowledge the interrupt briefly (warm, short)
- Bookmark: 'Hold that — one line left on the story'
- Handle the interrupt
- Return and land payoff (or mini-payoff)
- Bridge back to the planned segment
